I found this routine online on one of those nights when I just could not ‘switch off.’ Sleep for me is something that I am still working on. Over the years I became quite dependant on medication to help me get off to sleep. And since coming off it I have really struggled to fall asleep and get enough rest overnight where I feel that I am able to wake up in the morning and enjoy working towards my goals.
Sleep is incredibly important for mental well-being and overall health. This routine has been really helpful for me. I find it to be very soothing and it helps to slow down everything buzzing around in my mind. It’s something that I need to keeping working on but this has been a great place to start.
