My Favourite Green Juice
Try not to let the green colour put you off. This juice tastes great and gives you that perfect kick start in the afternoon. It’s a great for detoxing, plus it’s packed full of vitamins and anti-oxidants.
– Kale, a few large leaves or a handful.
– 1 medium to large Cucumber, Peeled
– 4 stalks Celery
– Juice of 1 Lemon
– 1 small bunch Parsley
– Ginger, adjust amount to your own taste.
Method: I usually change the amounts of each depending on what I have in the fridge. The combination works really well, just adapt it to whatever is best for you. It’s optional to juice or blend. If you are blending, start by adding a cup of water to the mix. You can always add a little more if you would like it to have a thinner consistency.
*If you would like some sweetness, Apple, Pineapple or a handful of grapes are a yummy option.
*If I am blending and would like to make it into more of a meal, I sometimes throw in half an avocado and some Chia seeds.
